Nicole Stob

Biography

Nicole Stob, a native of Minnesota, has been active her whole life, beginning with t-ball as a youngster. Throughout the years, she has competed in volleyball, basketball, softball, figure skating, and collegiate ice hockey.

After completing an undergraduate degree in nutrition science at the College of St. Benedict in Minnesota, she went on to study exercise physiology at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, believeing that an integral part of fitness is proper nutrition. After having exceptional professors during her masters program, she decided that she also wanted to teach others about nutrition and exercise and went on to complete her Ph.D in nutrition science at Colorado State.

Presently, Nicole enjoys running, cycling, and snowboarding and strives to maintain top fitness and nutrition to support htese activities. She has run marathons in Denver, Boston, and New York City, but prefers the half marathon distance. Her perennial goal is to snowboard a greater number of days than her age during that season.

Philosophy

I believe that physical fitness and nutrition go hand-in hand. One can achieve great results by training, but these results can be enahanced by maintaining a proper diet.
